Hotel Faro De San Vicente - San Vicente De La Barquera

I stayed for 1 night in a Basic Single Room. The view was fine, and I loved having a washing machine and dryer available . The staff were helpful, letting me store my luggage before check-in. The room was cozy and perfect after a day of exploring. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, especially the octopus!

The room is well-equipped and well furnished with a stunning view across the estuary and towards the old town.

As we remember, there was no parking.

Lovely location by the dissapointing reception area with views over the bay. Enjoyable options for breakfast with lovely coffee. Efficient check-in, parking nearby.

Very small bathroom.

The hotel is great location for exploring the Picos de Europa Mountains. Our room had a fantastic view of the river and town, a lovely way to start each day. With a young baby in tow, having a spacious room.

For dads, it would be great if cribs were available.

The location to the city was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the view across the river to the castle and cathedral with the Pico de Europas in the background was outstanding. Did not use the parking garage as was able to find street parking nearby.

Breakfast could be improved on but was adequate. They did open the breadfast buffet early on our last morning at our request as we had an early auto rental checkin in Bilbao.

The position of the hotel is excellent with wonderful views across the small harbour. The room was very modern and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In my view, it is good value for money.

The breakfast is very simple, comprising only toast and cakes, and a balcony or somewhere to relax outside would have been nice.

The location of Faro De San Vicente is fantastic, right by the estuary with fine views of the castle and mountains. I was impressed with the comfortable bed and the convenience of having a washing machine and dryer available . The breakfast was substantial and gave a great boost before a day of walking.

Really good location and facilties, lovely little town

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location, nice view of the castle and cathedral right across the river, decent breakfast (included in the room price). Good value for money.

We happened to be there during a 3-day fiesta, held virtually right outside, and the partying went on til 4am. Did I say loud? It's not the hotel's fault, of course, but worth checking if you plan on sleeping!

Great breakfast options and friendly staff. No air conditioning made nights uncomfortable.

This hotel was just a good match for spending a night in San Vicente De La Barquera with really good value. I really enjoyed the friendly vibe while having breakfast with so much choice. If you can, ask for a room with a view over the river.

Lovely setting and near town which has many restaurants. Parking on site, Wi-Fi in room, rooms clean and adequate for the price.

No a/c and as hotel near a junction it was quite noisy. It may be time for the pillows to be replaced as these were a bit lumpy. No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast very basic. Hotel restaurant run separately by another operator and pricey, wine cheap though.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent lunch and good breakfast. Biker friendly parking.
